This week is kind of lackluster as far as grocery deals, but I still found some noteworthy deals.
Thriftway
I regularly get mailers from Thriftway in my mailbox and they often have great coupons. For example, two weeks ago it was for a FREE dozen eggs. This week includes a $5 off your $50 purchase and these two coupons
- Buy One Get One – Painted Hills All Natural USDA Choice New York Steak, Boneless
- Buy One Get One – Farm Fresh Crisp Blueberries, 18 ounce carton
I haven’t been by the store, so I don’t know what this makes your final price, but I hope to check this out in the next couple days.

This week’s ad includes some decent coupons along the right edge of the ad:
- 1 dozen Haggen Large Eggs – 79 cents
- Haggen 100% Whole Wheat or Split Top Bread – 99 cents
- 24 pack Haggen Natural Spring Water $2.49
- Lean Cuisine or Stouffers $1.49 each
Other good deals that I noticed in the ad are:
- Fresh Express Complete Salad Kits $1 (I think there is a coupon for 55 cents/2 out there, not sure)
- Buy four Quaker cereal or bars, get a free gallon of Darigold milk – so buy four Quaker True Delights for $10, use four $1 coupons (internet printable from Quaker web site) – your total is $6 for four boxes for bars and a gallon of milk.
- Darigold sour cream or cottage cheese 2/$3 – use coupon from Sunday’s paper for 40 cents/1 = get 2/$2.20
- Darigold half & half $1.99 – $1 coupon from Sunday’s paper for $1/1 = 99 cents
- Darigold butter 2/$5 – 40 cent coupon from Sunday’s paper for $2.10
- Eskimo Pie ice cream treats $3 each, buy 4 for $12 get $4 off through in-store promotion = 4/$8 – four $1 coupons from 5/31 paper = 4/$4 for $1 a box!
- Dreyer’s Dibbs or Drumsticks $3 each, buy 4 for $12 get $4 off through in-store promotion = 4/$8 – two $1 coupons for $1/2 (4/26 paper) = 4/$6.
Albertsons
- Wild caught lobster tail $4.99 (first 10)

They are doing a “Buy 5 save $5″ promotion, here are some possible deals:
- Hillshire Select Deli Meats $2 each, but 5 for $10 – $5 in store promotion = 5 for $5. Then use five 35 cent coupons from 5/10 paper = $3.75 for five packages of deli meat
- Eskimo Pie ice cream treats $2.50 each, buy 4 for $10 get $4 off through in-store promotion = 4/$6 – four $1 coupons from 5/31 paper = 4/$2 for 50 cents a box!

That’s all this week for sales and deals that I can see. I probably won’t be buying much except produce. . .and probably the Eskimo Pie ice cream treats at Albertsons – can’t beat 50 cents a box!
