After a ho-hum sale last week, Albertsons has a whole bunch of great steals this week. If you use the two doubler’s in yesterday’s ad, you’ll be able to get lots of things FREE or very cheap. Here are the match ups. . .
My favorite deal of the week is Kellogg’s Cereal which I ended up getting for 29 cents a box. On sale for $1.99, it’s free when you use the $1 coupon from 6/7 insert and the doubler.
I know best is free, but instead of this, I got 10 of boxes of Kellogg’s cereal for $19.99, then the $5 promotion comes off (must buy 10), so my total would be 15.99 then substract ten $1 coupons (6/7 insert), your total is $14.99, PLUS use two doubler coupons to take off an additional $2 and your total is $2.90 for ten boxes of cereal. That’s 29 cents a box. Of course FREE is better, but I wanted to get a lot and didn’t want to do multiple transactions for it.
StarKist Tuna – This is also part of the Mix and Match Epic Sale. When you buy 10 of these, you get $5 off. Buy 30 of them for $37.50, – $15 (three $5 promos) comes off for the Mix/Match sale – ten $1.50/3 coupons (look for tear pads at nearly every store for these!), – two doubler coupons = $5.50 for 30 packs of tuna. PLUS for every 5 packages you buy, a coupon for $1 off your next purchase pops out of the Catalina machine. So I ended up paying $5.50 and getting $6 in coupons off my next order! FREE tuna! Plus a profit of 50 cents for every 30 you buy. (Double check the ad to make sure you grab the right variety of tuna – there were a lot of them).
