One of my favorite finds today was Brown Cow yogurt for only 50 cents each! It looked like they only have blueberry flavor. I stocked up, these yogurts are delicious and creamy!

I also found Organic Peanut Butter – Ian’s PB4 Me! It comes in little 1.5 oz containers, six of them to a package for only 99 cents! These are great for snacks on the go! These were located above a freezer section.

I also thought they had decent prices on bacon (around $2), cheese (2 lb shredded bag for $4.99) and soups (Campbell Select Harvest Soup 99 cents).

I guess you have to visit often to find the good deals as their stock rotates. . .but it’s worth checking out! I went to the Grocery Outlet in West Olympia – 2100 Harrison Ave NW, Olympia.

The doublers can be used with any manufacturer coupon (up to $1) and it will double that value. You can often get FREE items with the doublers. You can use three per transaction.

You can also find Albertson’s doublers in today’s paper! These are coupons that you can use in conjunction with manufacturer’s coupons to double their value up to $2. A lot of time this means FREE stuff.

So call your friends, family, neighbors or co-workers and get them to save you their coupon inserts! If you buy papers in the store, flip through them before you buy them to make sure they have the inserts (nothing stinks more than buying a paper for the coupons and getting home to find there are none!)

The calendars and registrations are open for the classes offered through the cities parks and rec departments, so now is the time to register and secure your place in a class. Regardless of location, it’s $25 for the class -which I guarantee you’ll save in  your first week of shopping.

I went to Target last night and was got about 60 toys for $150. . .regular value would have been $600! Don’t delay. The shelves will get picked-over quickly.

I didn’t buy all these toys for my two-year-old, although he wishes I had. I bought them for our church’s fall carnival. We give prizes away for the Bingo game. We try to spend between $1-3 a prize – perfect time to get those at Target. But if you do giving trees or other charitable giving, this is the time to stock up. When you can get a $10 toy for $2.50 – why not? Buying early and when it’s on sale is one of the best budget saving techniques I can give people.

This is my 2-year-old with all the toys I bought for $150 (plus tax).
